​2.5-Year Old Preschool Class
God’s Children Academy's philosophy for the 2 ½ years is to teach the students how to grow in the path of our savior Jesus Christ—also nurturing students' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical well-being. For the students who spend about half of their daily time in school, it is the school's responsibility to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning. God’s Children Academy strives to create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and heard.
​3-Year Old Preschool Class
​
Language Development: Building vocabulary, improving listening skills, and introducing basic literacy concepts like letter recognition.
Math Development: Introducing basic math concepts like counting, sorting, matching, and recognizing shapes and patterns.
Social-Emotional Development: Building social skills like sharing, taking turns, and communicating effectively with others, as well as helping children learn to identify and manage their emotions.
Physical Development: Encouraging physical activity through gross motor play, building fine motor skills through arts and crafts, and promoting healthy habits like hand washing and proper nutrition.
​4-Year Old Preschool Class
​
Language Development: Continuing to build vocabulary, improving listening skills, and developing early literacy skills like phonics and storytelling.
Math Development: Introducing more complex math concepts like addition and subtraction, measuring, and comparing quantities.
Social-Emotional Development: Fostering positive relationships with peers, learning to resolve conflicts in constructive ways, and building self-awareness and self-regulation skills.
Physical Development: Building gross motor skills through activities like running, jumping, and climbing, and building fine motor skills through writing, drawing, and cutting.
Early Drop-Off & Late Pick-Up Program
At God's Children Academy, we understand the needs of busy parents, which is why we offer early drop-off and late pick-up options. Our early drop-off starts as early as 7 am, providing flexibility for parents with early morning commitments. Similarly, our late pick-up goes as late as 5 pm, accommodating the schedules of working parents. We strive to provide convenient options for families, ensuring that your
child's care and education are seamlessly integrated into your busy lifestyle.
